What makes Lonestar Heritage Leatherette different from regular leatherette?

Lonestar Heritage is a premium leatherette engineered for custom hat patches. It engraves cleanly with a CO2 laser without charring or ghosting, and its adhesive backing bonds properly to hat panels before stitching so it does not lift, bubble, or delaminate through normal wear. Why did you choose the Richardson 112?

The Richardson 112 is one of the most respected trucker caps in the promo market. It has a structured foam front that holds patches cleanly without warping, a pre-curved bill customers love, and 30+ colorways to match almost any brand. It sits well on a wide range of head sizes and ships consistently. If you have a specific hat style in mind, just mention it in your request.

What file format do you need for my logo?

Vector files work best: .AI, .SVG, or a print-quality .PDF. A high-resolution .PNG with a transparent background (300 dpi or better) also works well. If all you have is a low-resolution JPG or a screen-grab, send it anyway. We will let you know during the proof stage what needs to be cleaned up before anything is engraved.

Can I mix hat colors or patch colors within one order?

Yes. If you need some hats in black with a tan patch and others in navy with an oxblood patch, just include the breakdown in your quote request. Mixed-color orders may be priced slightly differently depending on the number of combinations, but we will send a clear quote before you commit to anything.

What patch sizes are available?

Standard front patches are typically 3 inches wide. We can go up to 4 inches depending on your shape and design, or down to 2 inches for a more subtle look. Mention your preference in the quote request and we will advise on what fits your artwork best and looks right on the hat.

Can I get a custom patch shape not shown here?

Yes. The six shapes shown are the most common starting points, but the leatherette patches are laser cut, which means any clean vector outline can be a patch shape. Send us your shape idea or a reference image in your quote request and we will let you know if it is feasible and how it affects pricing.

How long does it take?

Most patch hat orders are finished within 10–15 business days after artwork approval and payment. This covers hat sourcing, engraving, and patch application. If you have a hard deadline, tell us upfront and we will be straight with you about whether it is achievable.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes. We ship anywhere in the US. A shipping quote is included when we send your invoice. Local pickup in the Upstate SC area is always available at no extra charge.
